Back up and running

The Crumbs bakery is well and truly back into its stride. Florrie and I moved house in August and the bakery came with us. I have added a couple more pieces of kit, including a beautiful 400L, fan assisted fridge, meaning all production can now occur in the Crumbs Kitchen, giving me more time to recipe test, and think on expansion.

London seems to be refilling after a quiet few weeks, and that was evident in the order book yesterday. It was my biggest sales day to date. I sold everything I baked (excluding a couple of pastries for my brekker). I am so grateful for the the support of all my customers. This project is nothing without all of you, so thank you so much for buying my bread. Keep doing so and hopefully before too long there will be a shiny new bakery to visit.

My next project is to find a local farmers market that would have me set up shop once or twice a month. If you have any ideas on where that should be, don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am looking at either Wimbledon or Balham, which would allow me to serve people who live beyond the current delivery zone.

Much love to all of you and hopefully I’ll be seeing you soon on the doorstep, with a fresh loaf of sourdough.

Harry

P.S. Cruffins are coming soon.
